South Approach Phase I
The Golden Gate Bridge South Approach Phase II encompasses the seismic upgrade of numerous structures, including the south approach viaduct, south anchorage housing, Fort Point arch, and south pylons. Each procedure was completed without interrupting the flow of traffic or site seeing tourists enjoying the spectacular views. Construction was completed without compromising the historic appearance of the bridge. ISI performed Quality Assurance concrete inspections and testing for the south anchorage housing and south pylons
North Approach Phase II
ISI provided Quality Control inspection and testing for Balfour Beatty on Phase One of the Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit. Inspections were coordinated as not to interfere with ongoing bridge traffic.
